We are currently seeking a Social Media Executive to join our dynamic and expanding agency. In this role, you will have the opportunity to oversee and manage social media accounts for various clients operating within the vibrant arts and culture sector.

Reporting to the Founding Director, the role will be responsible for supporting multiple social media accounts by producing and editing content across social media platforms with the aims of sustaining and increasing audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating social media content including videos, reels and static posts with a proven track record of engaging and growing online audiences. The candidate will also have an interest in the arts, and knowledge of the London art scene.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional organisational skills, enabling them to effectively coordinate on-site filming, photoshoots, and the creation of captivating digital content. This content will be tailored for diverse platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and more, across multiple clients simultaneously. Additionally, the candidate must have exceptional attention to detail and a creative flair when editing pre-existing or pre-produced content. This editing process will involve optimising content for various platforms and formats, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and adhering to brand guidelines and best practices.

This is a remote role, however we do require attendance at events in London outside of core working hours.

Skills & Experience:

      Essential

  • A love for art and a natural storytelling ability.

  • Knowledge of popular social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook.

  • Must have excellent writing skills.

  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask.

    Desirable

    Existing proficiency in content creation tools, editing tools, social management, and content management systems (CMS).

  • Skills in one or more of the following: Videography, Photography, Graphic Design

  • Prior experience managing the production of photoshoots, videos, and editorial content.

Key Responsibilities: Social

  • Work closely with the Founding Director to produce engaging content and manage content calendars across multiple channels for multiple clients.

  • Editing existing or pre-produced content to ensure it is optimised for various platforms.

  • Manage external contractors to produce content and create captivating campaigns and mailouts for exhibitions, events and artists.

  • Cultivate influencer partnerships to amplify reach.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new editing techniques, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the quality and impact of our social media organic & paid content across social platforms.

  • Monitor and report on social media performance.

  • Attend events as a representative of the agency.

  • Ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Start Date: November 2023 (Flexible)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, core working hours are 9.00 am - 6.00 pm
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Probation: 1 month
Location: Remote working model with attendance required at events in London outside of core working hours
Holidays: 25 days per annum plus public and bank holidays in England.
